Deal Town Football Club is proud to announce that one of its brightest young talents, Josh from our current Under-13 KYL side, has been selected to join the prestigious Kent Schools Representative Squad.

The achievement marks a significant milestone for Josh, as he becomes the only goalkeeper chosen for the squad. His selection is a testament to his consistent performances, dedication, and hard work both on and off the pitch.

Andrew Nixon described the news as “fantastic and thoroughly deserved,” highlighting the pride felt across the squad, management and and wider club. “Josh has shown maturity beyond his years in goal. His commitment to training and his ability to rise to big occasions have made him stand out.”

Josh’s journey will soon take him across the Atlantic, as the Kent squad is set to travel to Dallas, USA, next year. There, he will represent his county in an international setting, gaining invaluable experience against top-level opposition.

For Deal Town FC, the announcement underscores the strength of its youth development program and the opportunities available for young players to shine. Supporters and teammates have already rallied behind Josh, celebrating his achievement and wishing him success on the next stage of his football journey.
